Her combination of compassion and hard evidence makes for a poignant and profound message. I cant imagine anyone who would not be both moved and inspired on hearing her speak.

Speaking on ‘What is the city but the people?’ The role of the engineer in creating inclusive cities’. The GEC took place at ICE in London. It was part of the ICE 200 bicentenary programme, the 50th anniversary of WFEO and the UK Government’s Year of Engineering. It brought together a worldwide community of engineers to look at how we can create real change and plan how the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals can be met.
Speaking on ‘The Cost of Complacency’ at the launch of a new product designed to expand and enhance the MPA’s VRU Safety Toolkit: a Driver’s App, in partnership with CLOCS, to help professional drivers achieve the highest standards in their day-to-day work. Hillhead, the world’s biggest working quarry show, with an unprecedented 546 exhibitors and almost 20,000 trade visitors in attendance. Hillhead Quarry, near Buxton, Derbyshire, once again became the focal point for the international mineral products, recycling and construction equipment industries.
